Abstract

Objective

In the last two decades, the concept of rapid internationalization has gained special importance with the expansion of global trade, rapid changes in consumption and demand patterns, revolution in information technology, and also the increase in the number and quality of local and international competitors. Facilitating the speed of internationalization leads to gaining more market share than competitors. The purpose of this research is to identify the mental patterns of entrepreneurs relative to facilitating the speed of internationalization.



Methodology

The current research is based on the Q method, which is one of the mixed methods in conducting scientific research. Based on the purpose of this research, it is an applied research type, in terms of its nature, it is an exploratory research type, in terms of data collection, it is a descriptive-survey type research, and due to the application of Q methodology, it is a mixed (quantitative-qualitative) type of research. . In order to collect the information needed to form the Q study discourse space, many different sources can be used. In this research, the researcher used both first-hand and second-hand sources in order to collect expressions related to the discourse space. Through conducting interviews with a number of managers and subject matter experts, information was collected in the field of identifying the factors affecting the speed of internationalization of Abadan entrepreneurs. In order to identify the mentality of entrepreneurs towards facilitating the speed of internationalization of entrepreneurial companies, among all managers, consultants and experts of entrepreneurial companies in Abadan city, a number of (10) people were selected as participants of this research, which was expected to have the mindsets and views Their information about the topic of research should be important. This selection was made as a purposeful and non-probability sampling. Therefore, the participants in this research were selected based on "their close relationship with the research topic", "being a beneficiary" and "the importance of their presence in the research". SPSS software and the method of factor analysis and interpretation of the extracted factors were used to analyze the collected data.



Findings

After evaluating and summarizing the discourse space, among 85 cue expressions, 41 expressions were finally selected as examples of cue expressions (cue category), after surveying experts. After collecting the information obtained from Q sorting, this information was analyzed by Q factor analysis method. The distribution analysis showed that it is possible to identify 3 distinct mental patterns among the participants of the research on the effective factors in facilitating the speed of internationalization in entrepreneurial companies, which together explained about 66.35% of the total variance.





Conclusion

The three identified mental patterns were named "Leading Agile Builders", "Risk-Taking Relationship Builders" and "Creative Innovators" respectively. The importance and prioritization of the identified factors was done based on mental patterns, and finally solutions were proposed to solve the identified factors. In general, various researches have been done on internationalization and the speed of internationalization. Most of the studies have dealt with the factors affecting internationalization and the speed of internationalization. Meanwhile, the factors that facilitate the speed of internationalization have received very limited attention. Previous researchers have presented different opinions regarding facilitating the speed of internationalization and its importance, and limited researches have been carried out quantitatively, and they have examined the influence of factors such as intelligence and creativity on facilitating the speed of internationalization. In this research, in addition to identifying the effective factors on facilitating the speed of internationalization, the mentality of people regarding facilitating the speed of internationalization has also been investigated. Therefore, doing this research adds knowledge to the literature of business management and international business.
